Signing up and confirming your email

Short version: sign up with an email and a password, then click the confirmation link we email you. Until you do, you can look around but you can't add funds, order, or create API keys.

Sign up

1. Go to the dashboard's Sign up page. The sign-up buttons on our site take you there.
2. Enter your Email address, a Password, and repeat the password. The form lists the password rules as you type.
3. Tick the box to agree to the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy, then click Sign up.

One person or organisation, one account, and no reselling access without a written agreement with us.

Confirm your email

We send a confirmation link to the address you signed up with. Click it, and you'll see Email successfully verified. Then log in.

Until you confirm, the dashboard shows a banner: Your email address is not confirmed yet. You can't add funds, place an order or create an API key while it's there.

No email?

1. Check spam and promotions folders.
2. Click Resend in the banner. You can resend once every 15 minutes.
3. Link says This link is no longer valid? It expired. Resend and use the newest one.
4. Still nothing after that? Email support@proxymonkey.io from the address you signed up with.

Logging in later

Use Log in with the same email and password. Forgot the password? Click Forgot your password?, enter your email, and follow the reset link. If you've turned on two-factor authentication, you'll also be asked for a code: see Keeping your account secure.

If we ask you to verify your identity

Occasionally we may ask for an identity check before a top-up or an order. If so, the top bar shows Verify identity. The check lives under My account (in the menu under your email), on the Identity tab. It asks for a photo ID and a selfie. Questions about it go to support@proxymonkey.io.
