Using your ISP or datacenter IPs
Updated 2 min read
Short version: every IP you rent has its own host and port, plus a username and password. Find them under Proxies, copy one, or export the whole lot in the format your tool wants.
One IP
- Open Proxies, then ISP or Datacenter.
- Click the proxy. The Connection card shows the Endpoint, the port it speaks on, and the Username and Password, with copy buttons.
- Formatted gives you the whole line. Copy in a different format switches between
HOST:PORT:USER:PASS,HOST:PORT@USER:PASS,USER:PASS:HOST:PORTandUSER:PASS@HOST:PORT.
The detail page also has ready-made Integration examples for cURL, Python, Node.js, PHP, Go, Java and C#.
All of them at once
- On the ISP or Datacenter list, tick the proxies you want (or all of them).
- Click Export, pick a Format, and download as TXT or CSV. Copy puts the list on your clipboard instead.
Handy for antidetect browsers and scrapers that take a proxy list: one IP per profile or worker.
Test one
curl -sS --proxy "http://HOST:PORT" --proxy-user 'USERNAME:PASSWORD' https://api.ipify.org; echo
You should get the same IP every time you run it. That's the point of a static IP. More checks: Static IP: quick checks.
Or use Tools, Proxy checker in the dashboard to test all of them in one go.
Handy things on the proxy
- Rename it, so you know which IP belongs to which job.
- Generate a new password, where offered, if the credentials leaked. Anything using the old password stops connecting straight away.
- Change protocol, where offered, if your tool needs another one. See HTTP or SOCKS5?.
- IP allowlist to connect without a password from a fixed IP, where the plan allows it. See IP allowlist: skip the username and password.
- Report an issue if the IP misbehaves. See My order or proxy isn't working.
The Expires column tells you when each IP's term ends. To keep one longer: Renewing ISP and datacenter IPs.
