Telling us about abuse from our network

Short version: if traffic from one of our IPs harmed you, email our abuse address with the timestamps, the destination and the source IP. A human reads it, and we act on it.

The abuse address is listed on our acceptable use policy. You don't need an account with us to use it.

What to include

1. When. Timestamps of the traffic, with the time zone.
2. Where it landed. The destination: your site, server or service.
3. Where it came from. The source IP, if you have it.
4. What happened. A line or two, plus log excerpts if you have them.

Be quick about it

We keep connection metadata for 30 days. Anything that reaches us inside that window is what we can act on best.

What we do with it

Our connection metadata is how we find the account behind the traffic and stop it. Accounts that break our acceptable use policy get suspended.
