Adding bandwidth, concurrency or speed

Updated 1 min read

Short version: open the proxy and use the Capacity card. Buy bandwidth adds traffic to a shared IP; Upgrade / downgrade concurrency and Upgrade / downgrade speed change its limits. Everything is paid from your balance.

More traffic on a shared IP

A shared IP comes with a small traffic allowance. When you need more:

  1. Open Proxies, ISP or Datacenter, and click the proxy.
  2. On the Capacity card, click Buy bandwidth.
  3. Choose how much to add and confirm. It's charged once and added as soon as the payment clears.

Adding extra bandwidth when you first order is a little cheaper per GB than buying it later. If you'd be buying a lot, a dedicated IP, which has no traffic meter, often works out cheaper.

On a proxy that offers them, the Capacity card has Upgrade / downgrade concurrency (how many connections at once) and Upgrade / downgrade speed (the uplink).

  • Going up is charged once now, for the rest of the term, and applies straight away.
  • Going down is free and takes effect at your next renewal.

Don't see the option? That proxy doesn't offer it. Speed upgrades are for dedicated IPs.

Prices for each tier show in the dialog before you pay.
